Most groups choose to be involved as work site volunteers.  These groups take part in supervised construction activities and are generally scheduled on Wednesdays from 5-8pm, Saturdays from 8-11am or 12-3pm, or special times by arrangement.  The desired number for each volunteer group is 5-6 volunteers, although opportunities for larger groups may be available occasionally.  Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age, and adult supervision is required for youth volunteer groups.

Both individual and group volunteers are scheduled on a first come / first serve basis.  Our Saturday construction workdays frequently get booked months in advance at certain times of the year, so please be flexible with your availability.  Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at (605) 339-6406 or volunteer@siouxfallshabitat.org to schedule a work day.
